Igneus Incorporated
Igneus Incorporated was founded by Trevor Spain in late 2004. Igneus Incorporated's goals are to offer high quality, powerful, flexible, useful, and cost efficient software products to the automatic fire sprinkler protection industry. Our premeir product, Simple Hydraulic Calculator, began a fresh new approach to fire sprinkler computer software capability, licensing and pricing.
Trevor Spain
Trevor Spain grew up in an automatic sprinkler system family. As a boy, Trevor worked in the shop of his family's automatic sprinkler business; putting together pipe hangers, picking up, and cleaning. As he got older, Trevor graduated to pipe fabrication and installation. Then, as a high school senior, he began learning automatic sprinkler system design in 1989. Currently NICET Level IV certified in automatic sprinkler system design, Trevor works full time designing automatic sprinkler systems on a large variety of construction projects.
Trevor Spain began his programming career on a Commodore Vic-20 computer around 1981. Since then, he has worked on numerous computer platforms using a multitude of computer languages, such as: basic, forth, lisp, C/C++, pascal, and assembly. In 1993, Trevor graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a bachelor of science degree in computer engineering.
After devoloping version 1.0 of The Simple Hydraulic Calculator, Trevor Spain founded Igneus Incorporated in November of 2004.
